Songwriter / composer Jacob Streefkerk, the former guitar player of Dutch chart topping rock band Intwine, is currently experiencing international successes with his raggae infused band Orange Grove which takes him on tour all over a.o. Europe, Japan and the Caribbean.
Jacob has the ability to write and compose reggae flavoured rock, sun-soaked ballads and positive uplifting pop/dance gems as well as K-Pop and J-Pop gems, which truly makes him an all-round musician. He recently worked on projects for R&B sensation Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, German pop act Scooter, Major Lazer member Walshy Fire and Dutch hiphop legend Brainpower. Jacob also co-wrote on Yellow Claw’s multi-platinum awarded hit single ‘Shotgun’ (feat. Rochelle), for which he received a highly coveted Buma Award and a platinum award.
Having prolific releases on Sony Music, Universal Music, Diplo’s Mad Decent label, German’s #1 dance indie Kontor Records, Spinnin‘ Records and Armada Music amongst others, Jacob is a much welcomed multi- talent for any studio session where a ray of sunshine is needed!
