Belinda Meuldijk

Belinda is a Dutch actress, writer and songwriter. She is the daughter of Wim Meuldijk, the creator of the popular Dutch television show ‘Pipo de Clown’. As such, she was raised in the world of showbusiness. Aside from her very impressive career as an actress, she is also a very accomplished songwriter. She was married to prominent Dutch artist Rob de Nijs for 21 years and is responsible for writing many of his biggest hits and most successful albums. For her work as a songwriter she has received many awards, including ‘Best Song’ in 1983 and the ‘Gouden Harp’ in 2001. Last year Belinda received the ‘Lennaert Nijgh Prijs’ for being one of the best lyricists.
